The Page to Stage is series of classes focus on turning lived experience into solo art. The three classes are as follows:
Storytelling & Structure: This class teaches how to approach your autobiographical material with an eye towards turning it into solo performance.
Motion & Emotion: This class gets to the emotional heart of your piece, using heightened states of emotion the springboard to help you fully embody your pieces.
The Work: This class uses the wisdom of the collective to inform the final piece and uses tech elements to enhance the work.

Each course runs for six weeks plus a showcase show during week 7. That’s 18hrs of class plus a show!

I work with your personal material. It might feel like therapy, but it is not therapy. What I mean by this is that we’ll work together to find what is entertaining about your story. Much of this comes through questioning what happened and the impact of what happened. Then, together we’ll make your story something an audience will engage with and will be entertained by. .

Because class sizes are limited, your registration reserves a dedicated spot just for you.
If your plans change, we’re happy to offer a refund (less a $100 administrative fee) when we receive at least 7 days’ written notice before the first class. You can give notice via the contact form on this website.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the start date.
