The Work
—- STARTS November 9th, 2026 —-
In this class, each artist leads their own creative development, receiving feedback from the group. We maximize space to explore and discover whatever it is that your piece needs to reach its full potential. If you hope to create a solo show, this is an excellent place to develop your work.
Each class, you’ll present a piece to the group, get feedback through free association, have your ideas affirmed and see new layers of depth and complexity. As your piece develops, we will explore how to add theatricality using light and sound.
Prerequisite: Storytelling & Structure and Motion & Emotion
(or with Permission)
You’ll Learn HOW TO:
· Add layers of complexity to your piece through free association.
· Give and receive right-brained feedback
· Utilize lights and sound to elevate the drama and comedy
What You’ll Get:
· Small class size (capped at 10, minimum 6).
· 6, 3-hour classes
· A showcase performance featuring your work
· Tech elements added to your show (dependent on availability of technical director)
When?
· Mondays, 6 – 9PM | Nov 9th – Dec 14th, 2026
· SHOW: Thursday Dec 17th, 7PM

Storytelling & Structure
—- STARTS September 14th, 2026 —-
Pulitzer Prize winning author Frank McCourt said, “Everyone has a story to tell. All you have to do is write it.” Sounds easy enough, but with a lifetime full of stories, how do you know where to start? THIS class is THAT start!
Each week, you’ll use writing exercises to generate material inspired by your own lived experience and get feedback in real-time. You’ll practice listening to your unique artistic voice, giving it structure, and translating it into a dynamic performance piece. This class takes you from sitting in front of a blank page to standing in front of an audience, performing a fully realized performance piece inspired by your life.
Prerequisite: NONE, all are welcome
You’ll Learn HOW TO:
· Generate ideas.
· Structure a story.
· Get to the heart of your story.
· Find the FUN!
What You’ll Get:
· Small class size (capped at 12, minimum 6).
· 6, 3-hour classes
· A showcase performance featuring your work
When?
· Mondays, 6 – 9PM | Sept 14th – Oct 26th, 2026 (No Class Thanksgiving Oct 12th)
· SHOW: Thursday, October 29th, 7PM

How Much?
· $339 before Sept 1st, then $395 (includes HST)
Cancellation & Refunds:
Because class sizes are limited, your registration reserves a dedicated spot just for you.
If your plans change, we’re happy to offer a refund (less a $100 administrative fee) when we receive at least 7 days’ written notice before the first class. Notice can be given via email or our contact us page on this website.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the start date.
